I’ve been using Asus Zenfone Zoom as my daily driver along with my iPhone 5s and Letv Le1s device since 2 weeks now. And Asus Zenfone has never stopped showing wonders to me. The device is completely great comes with many high-end features but the price is way to high according to my point of view.
The new Asus smartphone in the zenphone series revealed in the CES, ‘Zoom’ is the newest instalment in a top range Asus has to offer to its customers worldwide. Well, the 13 MP cameras with 3X optical zoom will clearly meet the requirement of the photographer in you. The Asus zenphone ‘Zoom’ Review will tell us more about the phone and you can quickly make up your mind if this is the right one for you.
A Sleek Design
The company has taken an extra year for modelling of this phone and we can say that its time well spent. The Design is sleek and Asus claims that it is the slimmest 3X optical zoom smartphone the android market can offer. The Powerful 13 MP camera is Amal gated smoothly with the design and looks like a part of it. It covered in Gorilla glass though the phone is a little bit taller than its previous cousin ‘Zenphone 2’. The micro SD slot, audio jack, charging port and speakers are mindfully placed that make it a real handy one.
The video quality of 1920X1080 PPI FHD gives you a real experience whenever you any video shot in your new Zoom and guess what, you can adjust your colour preference without distorting or blurring your video. The packs a battery power of 3000 mAh that is non-removable and a micro SD support up to 128 GB. The most notable upgrade Zoom got is that it comes with a Z3590 processor which clocks a speed of 2.5 GHz.
But the ‘Zoom’ gets its befitting name from its 3X optical Zoom, which the 13 MP can offer. The most notable detail is that previously optical zoom lens will protrude out of the body will hinder its handling, but not in this case as the camera is well integrated into the structure and has very little projection and I can vouch that this is the best optical lens that the market can offer. Asus is working with Hoya, an optics manufacturer and come up with a double prism layout and mechanism.
Well, the other details include latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, Intel Atom Z5390 processor, 5.5” FHD IPS with Corning Gorilla glass, single SIM with 2G/3G/4G supports, B.T 4.0 and NFC, which will surely not disappoint any techie.
As all things are not perfect, the main factor that can affect the sales is the pricing of the phone. Asus values its ‘Zoom’ highly at will place it in a price range of 35-40 K. Well after the Asus Zenphone Zoom review, the price will be a small factor for anyone who’s looking for a quality phone with mind blowing specs.
I’d definitely say it’s 100% worth to buy this device, we’d like to hear your opinion as well in the comment section below.
