Asus Launches Refreshed Zenfone Max with an octa-core processor for Rs. 9,999
For the past few days Asus had been teasing that it is going to launch a new device with #LiveUnplugged that clearly indicated that the company was going to launch a device with huge battery. The company then relaunched Asus Zenfone Max with updated internal specifications.

The new Asus Zenfone Max has almost same specifications as of the previous Zenfone Max but this time the device features an octa-core processor, increased RAM and increased internal storage. From the previous 16GB, the device’s internal storage has now been increased to 32GB. The new Asus Zenfone Max comes runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with ZenUI out of the box as compared to Android Lollipop on the previous Zenfone Max. The amount of RAM in this device has been also upgraded to 3GB.
Other specifications of the device are similar as that of the previous Zenfone Max. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display having a resolution of 1280 * 720 pixels. The newer version comes with octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and two different RAM variants; 2GB and 3GB, both of them come with 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded with the help of a microSD card.
The device comes with a massive 5,000 mAh battery which promises a backup of 3 days and a standby back of upto 38 days. The device can even be used as a power ban with the help of a USB OTG cable.
To promote the sales of the new Zenfone Max, Asus has slashed the price of the previous version by 10%, making it available at just Rs. 8,999.
